Rosary Lakes

What started as two separate ski trips became one end to a new destination. Diane Jeffcott and Sandra Larsen co-led a trip, to Rosary Lakes with a total of six skiers. The trail to the lakes had already been broken. It pays to leave Eugene at 8:30 a.m. In spite of wet snow during the early part of the trip the falling snow did improve by the time we got to the first lake. We had lunch by the last lake and a few of us had the trees either dump snow into our open backpacks or down our necks. We had a slow downhill due to heavy snow back to the parking lot. Everyone agreed we had a good ski but a wet one. Skiers were Elliot Aronin, Chris Christensen, Kent Kullby, Sharon Ritchie end co-leaders Diane Jeffcott & Sandra Larsen.
