Chucksney Mountain

Fifteen people left the: SEHS parking lot and arrived at the Chucksney Mountain trailhead without event. We ascended to the mountain top on Trail #3306. The day was warm and partly cloudy, with moisture on the ground left from the previous day's ram. Upon reaching the top, we ate lunch in the sun. We continued south on the summit ridge and then descended the mountain down the Box Canyon Creek Trail, back to the cars, for a safe drive home. Hikers included Elliot Aronin, Dan Bates, Ellie Malenier, Max Brown, Margaret & Bill Prentice, Pat Adams, Jan Wright, Marilyn Kerins, Lisa Mattiello, Stan & Suzanne Rodkey, Karen Rayle, Don Prebus and leader George Baitinger.
