McKenzie River Trail

Five hikers showed up in spite of the weather forecast. We had a very nice hike along the Waterfall Loop. We had lunch at the shelter at Sahalie Falls, and afterwards hiked the trail to Tamolitch Pool. Our weather was a mixture of rain, drizzles, dry and a very brief bit of sunshine: pretty typical for Oregon. Along the way we saw a variety of coral plants. Hikers were Wendy Clarke, Genie Currier, Nola Shurtleff, Barbara Sutherland and trip leader Elliot Aronin..
