Midnight Lake

March 7, 1999

Eight of us enjoyed a day of skiing on a sunny March day. We skied the sometimes difficult trail into the lake, enjoyed a leisurely lunch — which we shared with the camp robbers — then deliberated on how to ski out. All but one wanted to ski out to the road on the easier route … imagine, no one wanting to follow their leader! Part way back, half the group skied up to Westview Shelter and enjoyed breaking trail and a great downhill run. We stopped at Mrs. McGillicuddy’s for hot drinks, a perfect ending for a great ski day by Bob Howarth, Tim Whitfield, Elliot Aronin, Dan Bates, Bill Prentice, Sat Nam Khalsa, Helen Liguori and Diane Jeffcott (leader).
