Snow CreekJanuary 24, 1999Who could have anticipated when we left overcast Eugene that the weather for our cross-country ski trip to Snow Creek would be so perfect? The new snow sparkled while the blue sky was a backdrop for the spectacular views of Mt. Jefferson, Three Fingered Jack and the Sisters. We opted not to do a loop trip when we saw that the trail had not been broken. We skied back down the way we came. The snow was a bit slow but the last mile was a welcome glide for Janet Jacobsen, Clare Tucker, Susan Wolling and Jane Hackett (leader). |
