Three Creek Lake

Comfortably packed into one car, the five skiers took off from SEHS shortly after 7:00 and were on the ski trail by 10:30. Snow was falling and we were the first to break trail. We stopped briefly at the Jeff View Shelter, then pushed on to within a mile and a half of the lake, but decided because of wind and weather to head back to the shelter for lunch by a nice warm stove. After a nice glide down we arrived back at the car by 4:00. Present were four Obsidians — Hal Owen, Bob Lemon, Josh Ladau and leader Anne McLucas. Liz Conibear, non-member, added a lively presence.
