Hardesty Mountain

June 5, 1999

All participants reached the summit on our 3300-ft. elevation gain to Hardesty Mountain. Rain and mist finally gave way to sun and views in the afternoon. Downed trees were climbed over and under. We were fortunate to be joined by an Englishwoman traveling around the world by herself. Hikers were Ellie Maliner, Buzz Blumm, Don Ladigin, George Baitinger, Elizabeth Bryan, Michael Landes, Benette Rauch, Mary Fechren, and Barbara Bruns (leader).
