Sweet Creek Trail

A break in the rain came just as we arrived at the Sweet Creek Trailhead. The day turned out to be great for hiking with the sun trying to break through the clouds. Eleven hikers enjoyed the numerous falls, water dippers and wildflowers located along the trail. A stop at Alphabits in Mapleton for a cup of tea and more pleasant conversation topped off another early Spring hike. Those taking part included Susan Baker, Brad Berg, Barbara Bruns, Wendy Clarke, Teresita Ladd, Carla McNelly, Sig Otto, Jane Rodd-Marks, Barbara Schomaker, Rosemarie Smith and trip leader Sylvia Harvey.
