Green Lakes/Soda Creek
September 27, 1998
A perfect Fall day for a perfect hike.
This is a hike that must be done on a day like this — warm sunshine,
a nip to the air and cool breezes.
The views throughout the hike are spectacular.
It’s a long drive, long hike, and long day … but well worth it.
My thanks to Dan Bates for driving, and to “Alpha Hiker” Dick Hildreth
for taking the point, and for the enthusiasm of all for the sights we shared.
Non-members were: Soon-to-be-member Don Ladigin, working-on-it Jennifer Baer and Carol Pepito.
Obsidians were Lynette Boone, Leona Devine, Dick Hildreth and leader
(well, I did get us safely out of the parking lot and onto the trail!!) Sharon Ritchie.
