Under a fine mist, sunshine and moderate temperature, we made the beautiful hike around Waldo Lake.
Constant laughter and tall tales made this an enjoyable trip.
If anyone knows an Australian selling GPS systems we would like to meet him!
We hiked from the North Campground to Shadow Bay Campground.
Some of the hikers were distraught to learn that there were a few uphill grades
even though I was legally correct that the trail was generally level.
The 15-plus mile hike took approximately seven hours and we were happy to see the end of the trail.
Hikers included Jane Rodd, Mary Ann Hastings, Max Brown, Gerry Roe, Rita Johnson
and Bob Hill, trip leader.
