Hardesty Mountain

Sun filtered through the trees and the birds sang to us as we began the arduous five-mile climb to the lookout site on Hardesty Mountain. Morning coolness was appreciated. Glimpses of Lookout Point Reservoir and the Cascades made us aware of how high we had come. Hikers were Janet Hall, Loren Bower, Dick & Lucy Rayle, Elliot Aronin, Rita Johnson, Susan Baker, Kris Kennedy and Barbara Bruns (leader).
