Fall Creek Area

My traditional Mother’s Day bike ride was cool and misty in the Fall Creek area … ideal for minimizing over-heating while hill climbing on a bike. Twenty miles upstream we all clambered out on a massive boulder overlooking the fast-running waters of Fall Creek for lunch. The rock surface was slimy in spots — a pratfall waiting to happen. And happen it did! I sit here now, with fingers crossed, hoping that Mary’s brother is not a lawyer! Riders were: Shirley Froyd, Bob Moffitt, Carol Houde, Mary Hayne and leader Bob Devine.
