Sweet Creek Falls Trail

Sweet Creek Falls trail, located in the Coast Range near Mapleton, continues to be a wonderful hike. This area is rich in natural history and history. Numerous dippers, salamanders and wild flowers greeted the seven hikers who ignored threatening weather. It only rained for about one mile and stopped in time for us to have lunch on some rocks by the water. Completing an enjoyable day was the traditional stop at A1phaBits in Mapleton. Participants included Max Brown, Hassan Ghandour, Mary Millman, Chuck Mitchell, Nola Shurtleff, Clare Tucker and leader Sylvia Harvey.
