Maxwell Butte SnoPark

Due to the heavy new snow, the original trip — Hoodoo to Little Nash SnoPark — was changed to the Maxwell Butte SnoPark. Even with the lower elevation we still had 18-24 inches of fresh snow to break trail through. We also had a few minutes of blue sky and sun, no wind, gently falling snow and a great day. If you have never skied this area, I recommend it for its variety … from Very Easy to Very Difficult. Skiers were Dick Barrar, Lynette Boone, Matt Bryant, Ingrid Cherrytree, Kris Kennedy, Adrian Myers, Marriner Orum, Dennis Urso and Jane Hackett, leader.
