Midnight Lake

March 1, 1997

Under a light snowfall, our group completed the six-mile Midnight Lake Loop in a little under 3½ hours. We traveled in the counter-clockwise direction, so we could enjoy the interesting descent down the Pacific Crest Trail. Conditions were wonderful with the new snow that had fallen the previous week. Enjoying one of my favorite ski trips were newcomer George Baitinger and Obsidians Elliot Aronin, Bev Halter and Michael Landes (leader).
