Snow CreekFebruary 2, 1997We had a clear, sunny day with great views of all the mountains, including Mt. Hood. The downside to this trip was the two inches of powder over a solid base of ice. This wasn’t much of a problem for the uphill part of the trail, but when we turned into the trees it was an adventure in skiing for some of us. Josh and Ian telemarked through it all. Skiers were John Pegg, Dick Hildreth, Ian Ives, Sharon Ritchie, Clare Tucker and leader Jane Hackett. |
