This was an impromptu hike. Decided on Monday night to lead a hike, put the sign-up sheet on
the board Tuesday morning and ten of us went to Brice Creek on Saturday.
It was a great hike. Brice Creek is so beautiful at any time of the year.
We ate lunch on the rocks overlooking a small falls near Trestle Creek, basking in the sunshine.
It was so nice.
Later, Art went the short distance to the end of the trail and back, then we took the short
trail to Trestle Falls.
It’s so lovely. The Forest Service is doing a great job of improving that particular trail.
Many thanks to all who joined me on an impromptu/unadvertised/very successful day.
Those were non-members Dick & Lucy Rayle and Nioma Joline
and Obsidians Rita Johnson, Ed Lichtenstein, Margaret Marsch, Mary Millman, Art Skach; Sheila Ward,
Margee Wright and Sharon Ritchie (occasional leader, of sorts!).
