The Twins

The weather was a bit too hot for an uphill climb, but 13 hardy types climbed The Twins and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. A few of Waldo Lake’s famous mosquitoes ventured to high elevation just to nibble onus, but we shared our bug dope and ignored them. The views from both Twins peaks were worth the effort of the climb. A few snow banks along the trail, and the varied terrain delighted those who’d never been up this trail before. Nobody got hurt or lost or sunburnt! Twins hikers were Jun-Chin Chen, George Bail inger, Kurt Cyrus, Terry Ianora, Kirk Lemon, Helen Liguori, Jana Logan, C.L. Moranek, Cathy Tilton, Clarence Townsend, Joanne Vinton, Diana Wageman and Susan Baker (leader).
