Clear Lake

June 14, 1997

On a beautiful early summer day nine people drove to the McKenzie River Trail-head for a hike around Clear Lake. We enjoyed some great wild flowers, watched an osprey flying over the lake and lots of boaters paddling about. An afterlunch stop for pie at the resort lodge was declared a delicious end to a near perfect outing. Hikers were non-member Linda Young and Obsidians Brigitte Cross, Rita Johnson, Margaret Malsch, Lindsay Pierce, Margaret & Bill Prentice, Judy Sladek and trip leader Harold Busby.
