Clear Lake

There was not a very big sign-up, but the leader and the Moffitt crew had a good hike around the lake. David and Andrew are quite young hikers but led the hike all the way. The osprey nest on the west side of the lake was being put to good use. We had a number of excellent views of the lake, and stopped for a rest at the head-water spring of the McKenzie River. We completed our trip at the Clear Lake Store and Cafe. Clear Lake hikers were Mike, David Jr., John & Andrew Jr. Moffitt and John McManigal, leader.
