Silver Falls State Park

Just before the trip, the sign-ups were reduced to one person. In spite of this, and the prediction of showers, the two of us ventured on. It was especially rewarding to trip member Karen Watton who had never been to Silver Falls State Park (she’s from Canada). This was prime time to visit this area with lots of water flow, wild flowers and extra time for photography. We were able to adjust our hike to provide time for a leisurely lunch before the fireplace in the Lodge while our outer garments dried. Leader: Jean Ridone.
