Three Creek Lake

Leaving Eugene’s dark winter skies and imminent rain behind us, we drove to the Sisters
area for a chance at better weather.
Sure enough, the Three Creek Lake area didn’t disappoint us; though it was mostly overcast,
we only experienced a momentary snow shower (while lunching at the lake, of course!).
The meager snow was sufficient to cover our entire route, while the parking lot and road were both
Originally mislabeled as an 8-mile loop — 12 eager skiers insisted on doing the extra three
or four miles to Three Creek Lake.
Of course, almost half the route was a brisk downhill.
