Fawn Lake

Ideal snow conditions and windless but crisp weather in the ’teens made this an ideal mid-week day to ski from the Crescent Lake trailhead to Fawn Lake. Dick Hildreth was our chauffeur, trail guide (he was able to detect a faint depression in the snow along the trail) and chief trail breaker. Others on the trip were Richard Barrar and Barbara Bruns, with leader Jean Ridone who brought up the rear.
