Little Belknap Crater

Heat wave? Not atop McKenzie Pass. Light rain fell much of the morning, and a strong breeze was almost chilly. Reached the summit quickly, hurried back to the car, then explored Dee Wright Observatory and Scott Lake. A flat tire at the parking lot capped the day (how many Obsidians does it take to change a tire?) A good group: Kurt Cyrus, Cindy Fitzgerald, Sachiko Iwasaki, Chris Steele and Bert Ewing (leader).
