Brice Creek

June 8, 1996

The group of eleven met at SEHS. [Thanks for driving, Dick Rayle!] We headed for Brice Creek under cloudy skies and cool temperatures. Perfect weather for hiking. Brice Creek is beautiful no matter what the temperature. There were a few “wet” spots and a couple of small logs to cross but all in all the trail was in good condition. We had one minor injury and one hiker could not resist the creek and jumped in for a quick swim. The sun had come out by then and it was beautiful, but I bet the water was still freezing! Enjoying the hike with me (Brigitte Cross) were non-members Dick & Lucy Rayle, Sequoia Warner, Cindy Fitzgerald, Gladys Johnson and Herbert Whitman and Obsidians Susan Baker, Mary Millman, Max Brown and Ralph Olive.
