He identified trees and birds, described the marbled murrelet, and explained the threat of old growth logging in the area to Bonnie Manheim, Herbert Whitman, Helen Liguori, Bonnie Ledford, Verlean McCoy, Joella Ewing, Margaret Malsch, Fred Foust, Helmut Plant, Emily Thomas, Brian Hudgins, Mindy Koblenzer and Joanne Vinton, leader.
