Mt. Washington

July 19-20, 1996

Another lucky weekend on Mt. Washington. Great weather and a small, competent group of climbers. After the roped climb to the rappel rock, we followed the alternate route used last year to a point directly below the west side of the summit. An easy rock pitch put us on the summit. Easy go, no ropes necessary, above the rappel rock. A totally enjoyable climb by Doss Bradford, Michael Cooper, Alex Kalin and Ed Lovegren (leader).
