Maklaks Ski Tour

We were so surprised to find deep, fresh snow when rain and warm temperatures were in the forecast. The last three miles we had to break trail. Around noon it started to snow so we quickly ate lunch (with a dusting of snow on our sandwiches!), and turned back, completing an enjoyable five-mile tour. With no rain or wind the lucky Obsidians Richard Bazrar, Norm Benton, Helen Liguori, Sharon Ritchie and leader Dot Leland were thrilled to have had a great ski day.
