Santiam Lakes

Spring skiing in February at its very best! Good snow, much better than we expected — one bare spot where we took off our skis. Bright, warm, sunny day to enjoy four lakes, streams, variety of scenery, open vistas of Mt. Washington, Three Fingered Jack, and even Mt. Jefferson from the top of a hill next to Torso Lake. It was a delightful day for all four of us: Norm Benton (first time skiing on his new hip), Don Harrold (first time out in two years), Helen Liguori (second time on this tour), and for Dot Leland (her 10^th year leading this favorite ski trip).
