North Loop Trail

After arriving at the Ray Benson Shelter, we decided to avoid the cold wind by skiing in the forest on the North Loop Trail. At the North Blow-out Shelter, Richard lit a lunch-time fire using fire starter material plus some helpful blows from Clare. After lunch some of us returned on the other part of the loop trail while others doubled back on our tracks. We spent some time on the freshly groomed bunny slope at Hoodoo practicing turns. Skiers on the trip were Helen Liguori, Sharon Ritchie, Setha Burns, Richard Barrar, Leon Dannan, Clare Tucker, Chuck Mitchell and leader Jean Ridone.
