Tire Mountain

The weather man had predicted rain all week for Sunday. So much to our surprise and delight eight hikers gathered in bright sunshine for a hike to Tire Mountain. Hiking was slow due to much discussion of the numerous and beautiful wild flowers. We were on top of Tire Mountain by noon and enjoyed our lunch in the sunshine. On this wonderful early summer day hike were Susan Baker, Rita Johnson, Herb Lee, Ruth & Wayne Lill, Lindsay Pierce, Herb Teicher and Hal Busby (leader).
