Yachats-Waldport Coast Hike

Walking the Oregon beach from Yachats to Waldport is pure delight at low tide, with breakers cascading, shore birds resting near the streams, the wind behind you and the drifting clouds above. To share that with friends is even better. Dallas and Jack Cole (from Wilsonville) met us in Yachats. Unfortunately, the other nine people who had intended to go, missed a splendid day! Not a drop of rain! The four of us had the clean and lovely beach all to ourselves. Only footprints in the sand indicated other hikers. Eugene Obsidians were Bep Fontana and Birgitte B.
