Waldo Lake (Overnight)

February 12-13, 1994

Perhaps it was the weeks of poor snow conditions. There was also the Olympics. Whatever the case, no-one signed up for this overnight trip. Fortunately, Mike Landes called Thursday night with an interest in going. The leader decided to call it off Friday, but the two still enjoyed a 15-plus mile day ski to Waldo Lake out of the Gold Lake SnoPark. The nearly 1" of new snow made for spectacular skiing.
