Fawn LakeJanuary 15, 1994We trudged into Fawn Lake from Odell Lodge on icy, old snow. It wasn’t easy, but we all made the ascent, enjoyed lunch at Little Fawn Lake (or Bambi Lake), then visited Fawn Lake before beginning our trip back. The return took as long as the climb in, and we were all tired from a strenuous day of skiing on less-than-perfect snow. The weather was sunny and warm and we had a fun day in spite of numerous falls. Skiers were Betsy Halpern, Dick Hildreth, Ray Mikesell, Wes Prouty, Jean Ridone and Diane Jeffcott (leader). |
