“Just do it!” was the motto for this trip as the road was risky with icy spots on the way up and the snow very questionable. But it became a glorious day with tricky snow, spectacular falls (only one broken pole) and equally spectacular views. It was so hot at lunch time we could bask in the sun and dry our clothes in the 65° reading of our thermometer. We felt as if we had the whole park to ourselves as we never met another soul and had a grand time on the super “fast” snow coming back. Patricia Nies and Birgitte Williams (leader) shared this special treat.
