Sun River Ski Trip

January 7-9, 1994

On Friday afternoon eight Obsidians piled into the van and headed out for our rental house in Sun River. After unloading we went over to the Chinese restaurant for a great family style meal. Saturday, six of us went skiing at Mt. Bachelor while Pat and Jack stayed home and prepared dinner. Saturday night Jack Cole was the chef and with Pat’s assistance prepared a really gourmet meal. Sunday, the cross-country skiers rode on the chair lifts and we all had fun — until Jane was blindsided by a snow boarder. After being treated in the aid room we drove back to Eugene, getting home about dark. After a day’s rest, Jane was able to go back to work.
