Tamolitch Falls/Belknap Hot Springs
October 22, 1994
On a bright, sunny autumn day, seven of us followed a portion of the McKenzie River Trail
through green mossy springs and through old growth forest alongside McKenzie River.
Like lizards, we found a nice warm, sunny spot overlooking the deep azure pool at the base of
the dry waterfall.
At the end of our hike, we drove to Koosah Falls and then headed to Belknap Hot Springs for
a refreshing and relaxing soak.
Throughout the day we had the chance to admire the beautiful fall colors.
Hikers were Evnnee Chad, Norm Benton, Anne Montgomery, Rosemary Bobin, Barbara Schomaker,
Richard Ogden and leader Jean Ridone.
