Fall Creek Trail

The Eugene Celebration had more appeal than a hike on the Fall Creek Trail
for many, it seems.
As a consequence, just three of us showed up on a gorgeous Sunday morning.
My game plan to hike from the Dolly Varden Campground to Road Junction 1828
was scrapped because that required a two-car shuttle arrangement.
Instead, we hiked from Dolly Varden to the Johnny Creek Campground, had lunch,
and returned over the same route.
I was pleasantly surprised with the water volume in Fall Creek after such a
