Canyon Creek Meadows
August 6, 1994
Nine early-bird hikers left Eugene for Canyon Creek Meadows at 7:00 a.m.
The meadow was not as dry as we had expected, with some wild flowers still blooming.
The small glacial lake was free of ice, with very little snow patches left in the scree slope valley.
A very nice day and great views from the ridge on Three Fingered Jack’s east side.
Hikers were Lindsay Pierce, Bernie & Richard Clark, J. Scott Hovis, Bob Lemon, Ruth & Wayne Lill,
Allan Wicker and Harold Busby (leader).
