Tire Mountain

June 18, 1994

Twelve hikers left the SEHS parking lot for Tire Mountain promptly at 8:00 a.m. We assembled at the trailhead for introductions and started up the trail. It became apparent that we would be treated to a marvelous display of wild flowers. It was like meeting so many old friends. We enjoyed our lunch at the top. The hikers on what was a beautiful hiking day were Dan Bates, Cathy Carter, Leona Devine, Earl Dill, Barb Elsen, Earl Gosnell, Ruth & Wayne Lill, Mary Millman, Virginia Prouty, Karen Seidel and Harold Busby (trip leader).
