Fall CreekMay 8, 1994The second annual Mother’s Day bike ride up Fall Creek was notable mostly for the extremely light auto traffic. This made for 40 miles of relaxed riding, with many opportunities to ride along in chitter chatter clusters. A pleasant snack stop at Johnny Creek Nature Trail was followed by lunch 4½ miles upstream atop a series of massive boulders overlooking Fall Creek. Enjoying the ride on a sunny day in May were: Gayle Berge, Norma Lockyear, Glenn Meares, Dick & Rose Marie Moffitt, plus three non-members who we hope to see a lot more of — Warren Kadas, Helen Martz and Ray Nichols. Leading the ride was Bob Devine. |
