Ridgeline Trail/Spencer Butte

We hiked from Dillard Road along the Ridgeline Trail to Willamette Street, and then decided not to proceed further because of mud and time. We wanted to ascend Spencer Butte in time for lunch, so we retraced our steps and ascended the butte. Views at the top were pleasant, and after an hour the group descended and returned to the cars. We were most fortunate in being spared rain! Hikers were Mary Holbert, John Pilafian, Laurie Jaccino, Maria Ouslce, Rita Johnson, Lynn Bailey, Royal Murdock, Melanie Clasen, Margee Wright, Herb Lee and Gary Marx, leader.
