Tamolitch Pool (McKenzie River Trail)April 9, 1994The group was richly rewarded for braving the elements of the weather by the discovery of wildflowers, green carpeted rocks, high sparkling rushing water and deep lava molds. Lunch was shared by the Tamolitch Pool which was bluer than remembered. The light rain heightened our appetites but did not dampen our spirits. This is a trail to enjoy even in light rain. First time hikers were Lori Pedrick and Doug Tompkins. Obsidians were Nancie Fadeley, Bill Loy and Maude Caldwell, leader. A delightful but short hike. |
