Paulina Lake/Newberry Crater

Our 13^th annual trek into Newberry Crater was a beautiful day as usual. The highways were good, the weather fine, snow excellent, participants were all on their best behavior, the frozen waterfalls were very impressive, and the home-made cobbler at the Lodge was really out of this world! It would have been an absolutely perfect day if snowmobilers had not torn up parts of the Nordic ski trail. There seems to be something about “No!” that they don’t understand. Thoroughly enjoying this fine Valentine’s Day were Cheryl Berry, Genie Currier, Bea Fontana, Bep Fontana, Gladys Grancorvitz, Kristen Kaminski, Glenn Meares, Chuck Mitchell, Dave Predeek, Sharon Ritchie, Teri Simpson, Bobbye Sorrels, Clare Tucker and Gene Thaxton, leader.
