Fawn LakeFebruary 2, 1993The weather was a bit overcast. There was 3 or 4 inches of fresh, wet snow over a frozen base. We began skiing at the east end of Odell Lake and traveled up the trail, south into the Diamond Peak Wilderness. The sun came out at Fawn Lake as we were eating lunch and feeding the birds. Our return trip down the trail was difficult as there were many icy spots. Some of us had coffee and cobbler at the Lodge. Those enjoying the fine weather were Doris Allen, Cheryl Berry, Ladislav Filip, Eric Miller, David Stone, Muriel Willingham and leader Dave Predeek. |
