Dunes Overlook

Sunday, January 31 was a weather perfect day at the Oregon Coast for our hike on the beach and dunes. Our starting point was the Dunes Overlook south of Florence. We were fortunate to have sunshine, clear sky, and no wind. Our route took us across the dunes to the beach, then on down to Tahkenitch Creek for a lunch stop. We returned part way on the beach, then followed the posts over the dunes back to the starting point. Four members (Mary Millman, Denise Sevigny, Sig Otto and Christy White), four guests (Donna Lawry, Jim Faulkner, Marc Hansen and Patti Thompson) and leaders Fred & Jean Richardson enjoyed this leisurely trip.
