Fawn Lake

The ski-trip to Fawn Lake in the Willamette Pass area was a route finding adventure. The heavy snow had buried some of the blue markers. But thanks to the sharp eyes of the group, we successfully broke the trail to the lake. There was a cold wind off the lake, but it was a mild day. Clumps of snow falling off the trees added to the excitement. Skiers were Denise Sevigny, Mari Baldwin, Tom McGuirk, Jane Astle, Tim Verhler, Diane Jeffcott, Sharon Ritchie, Dick Hildreth, and leader John Pegg.
