Midnight LakeJanuary 10, 1993A dump of fresh snow in the Cascades bode well for our trip. A real nice day in fresh powder skiing on gentle terrain on a pleasant trail. The camp robbers were waiting for lunch at Midnight Lake, and they got their weekend fill from us. Unfortunately, one of the feasting birds showed no respect for the exalted status of our illustrious past-President Ritchie, instead selecting her glasses as a target for excavation of its bodily wastes! (At least she wasn’t wearing contacts.) A great day with great company, in the persons of Ande Hall, Dallas Hemphill (leader), Kristen Kaminski, Gary Marx, Chuck Mitchell, John Pegg, Sharon Ritchie, Clare Tucker and non-member Diana Moss. |
