Gold Point Trail

Well, no, the leader did not supply the gourmet after-lunch treats, but there was sunshine! The trail was a fairly “up” one, with a few trees and logs to go over and under, but nothing we couldn’t handle. And there were some great open areas to take a break from being in the trees. A big meadow with a small amount of flowers was the reward for everyone after going all that “up”, and of course for a much needed lunch break. Gold Point hikers were Jim Fritz, Marc Hansen, Marty Hathaway, Janet Macha, Richard Schram, Sharon Ritchie and leader Kristen Kaminski.
