Jones Creek Trail

March 28, 1993

We didn’t see much of Jones Creek, but we heard it rushing below the trail. Our hike wound slowly uphill to a lovely open lunch spot. Our view took in a nearby fully wooded hill and some distant clearcuts. Stunted oaks grew on our rocky outcrop. We ate and talked and napped and then directed our footsteps back downhill. Participants were Buzz & Cecile Blum, Marc Hansen (who set a steady pace throughout the hike) and Susan Baker, leader.
